Wound of Sun Rays

Wound of Sun Rays

What are the negative effects of sun rays on the wound site?

The negative effects of sun rays on scarring are:

– Darkening of the scar

– Swelling of the scar

– Itching of the scar

– Enlargement of the scar

– Hardening of the scar

– Infection of the scar

These negative effects on the scar can also negatively affect the healing process of the scar. When the scar is exposed to sunlight, collagen production in the skin decreases. Collagen is a protein that provides skin elasticity. Decreased collagen production causes the scar to bulge and harden more.

In order to reduce the negative effects of sun rays on the scar, it is necessary to protect the scarred area from the sun. To protect the scarred area from the sun, it is necessary to use sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. In addition, it is necessary to keep the scarred area away from the sun as much as possible.

To protect the scarred area from the sun, the following precautions should be taken:

Use sunscreen. Sunscreen protects the skin from UVB and UVA rays. Sunscreen should be at least SPF 30 and should be renewed throughout the day.

Wear a hat. The hat provides skin protection from UVB rays from the sun. The hat should be wide-brimmed and cover the face, ears and neck.

Use sunglasses. Sunglasses protect the eyes from UVB and UVA rays from the sun. Sunglasses should filter UVA and UVB rays.

Keep the scarred area away from the sun as much as possible. Keep the scarred area out of the sun, especially at noon, when the sun is strongest.
